THE YEMEN CRISIS
Yemen is the largest humanitarian crisis in the world – and children are being robbed of their futures.

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN YEMEN?

Yemen, one of the Arab world's poorest countries, has been devastated by a civil war. Currently, more than 24 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance, including more than 12 million children.

WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?

Since September 2014, both sides of the conflict have used child soldiers under 18, including some under the age of 15, according to a 2019 UN Group of Eminent International and Regional Experts on Yemen report in 2019.

Children continue to be killed and maimed in the conflict, while the damage and closure of schools and hospitals has disrupted access to education and health services, leaving children even more vulnerable and robbing them of their futures.
